What it does

InfiniteHoops is a multifunctional site; it not only keeps fans up to date with the latest b-ball news and highlights, it also gives members a means to join in on games in their area. To find a new game, you can simply type in your city in the search box or check out the existing Groups and Games by clicking at the top of the page. Alternately, if you’re simply looking for a game to watch, or want to advertise a game, the site’s a perfect venue. Most recent games to watch and/or join are listed on the site’s side panel. Commenting and messaging facilitates game organization. As with most sites, each member gets a personal profile which displays the number of games played, recent games, teams, views, and demographic info such as age and location.

Why it might be a killer

This site makes it easier for basketball lovers and fans to find games and group up to play. It also has basketball news, making it a potential one-stop source for fans of the game.

Some questions

The site is rather disorganized. Personal profiles don’t have much character, and the information is limiting. The homepage has too much going on, too many ads, and it’s hard to find specific games. Infinite hoops would do well to add separate city or area pages with calendars and member to member messaging.
