With the high listing fees that eBay charges, this site offers users a real alternative. Usellit4free (USiFF) auction concept was developed in early 2005, after the founders, had a family member pass away. In looking for ways to raise money for the services, they offered to auction some of the family member's household items on eBay. They went online and listed these items.Over the next few evenings, they came up with a new way to run an online auction site. The new auction concept in fact, is very simple; auction fees, if any, are only charged when an item sells successfully. Why should a company get paid for unsuccessful auctions? Usellit4free moved away from the traditional auction concept of charging up front fees. This auction system is unique and will challenge competition well into the future. Their goal is simple; provide customers a cost efficient means to trade and auction items globally. When Usellit4free's customers have an unsuccessful auction, Usiff is not providing a service. Therefore, customers do not pay.

Why it might be a killer

They offer free listings, no upfront cost at all. Any fees, if any, are charged on the back end. They truly offer an alternative to eBay. Someone needs to give eBay a run for their money and they believe they will.
