What it does

Don’t want to pay money for CSS templates and Wordpress themes? Unlike other sites which usually feature templates at a cost, Free CSS Templates only has a searchable index of completely free ones. All of the templates are free of cost to download, with your pledge to link back to the Free CSS Templates site in some way. You can search by category (Wordpress or CSS themes), and browse through the hundreds of templates until you find something that appeals to you. When you want to download, simply click the “download” button located below each template. All templates come with their own public domain photos, provided by Wikimedia Commons and PDPhoto.org, and are completely free of charge through the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 license.

Why it might be a killer

Free CSS Templates features hundreds of well-designed, aesthetically pleasing templates at absolutely no cost. Additionally, all of the templates are lightweight, so they won’t take long to load once you’ve crafted your page.

Some questions

Why isn’t the database of templates divided into more easily searchable categories? Right now you can only pick your way through upwards of a dozen pages of templates sorted in random order. It would be nice if Free CSS Templates offered a more refined search tool.
