Could they make it so that a timer will immediately start working at the specific time you decide beforehand in case you aren’t near a computer at that moment to start it off, and then you could just stop the event once you returned to your computer?

Why it might be a killer

The application is clean looking and the site gives you a breakdown of what each part of the site will allow you to do so that you don’t miss out on functionality. Being able to monitor multiple tasks week by week and see that you’re taking the amount of time you should be for what is getting done is useful for freelancers or people on a tight time budget. Collapsing the application, but being able to see the timer at the same time is a useful tool.

What it does

Klok is an Adobe Air application that allows you to easily monitor the time you spend on various projects. You create new entries for each client, project, or meeting you want to track, enter in the details including how long you think it might take, the color you want it to appear in the Week View, contact information, and possible sub projects, and then choose when you want that event’s time tracking to start. To monitor your time while working on the computer, you can keep a collapsed version of the application at the top of your screen, allowing you to visually know how long it’s taking you to do the task at hand. You can also enter in tasks manually if you want to keep track of all of your time and forgot to set the timer. Then you can check the reports available on your data. Here you can see a breakdown of where you’ve spent your time over the current week. So if you’re wondering where all of your time is spent, or need to keep track of exactly how long each project is taking so as to schedule accordingly or give yourself incentive to work faster, Klok could be the application for you.
