Why it might be a killer

What it does
Great DB is a Firefox-powered application for finding detailed information about other websites. This site functions like a regular search engine. Users enter in the website they are looking for into the search field, and from there, Great DB consults several popular information sources, including Google, Yahoo, WayBackMachine, and Dmoz, to come up with the search results. Once the results have finally loaded, users are provided with a full report on that searched website. The report includes such vital stats as the age of the company, hosting provider, ping time, top five keywords, and page rank. Great DB also provides a line graph that illustrates the popularity of the website according to its ranking on Alexa.com. All provided criteria have an explanation that can be seen when the mouse is held over it, ensuring that users completely understand the information they are provided.
