What it does

A new remote drive has been launched by the folks at BOXSTr.com by the name of OpenDrive. It allows you to store, share or back up all of your documents, photos and music. You can powerfully sync your files so that after you make changes they are instantly transferred across all of your computers and even to the web. For those unfamiliar with many of the new advancements on the internet, OpenDrive is perfect for it works just like your current hard drive so there´s no complicated interface to learn. And because files are immediately shared on all of your devices, you can access everything from anywhere as long as the computer has internet access. The best part about OpenDrive is the secure data storage offered where you can backup all of your important work

Why it might be a killer

OpenDrive is really easy to download and use and has an especially useful video on its About page to explain exactly why its killer. And the fact that you make changes to files, see those changes instantly and then can grab a file within a flash and share it with others is incredible. However, OpenDrive is currently only available for those who have Windows XP or Vista and its website is not fully functioning for many tabs only say ¨coming soon¨.
